To my friends:
If you go to our newest sites you will see bridges everywhere. You need a bridge to get to the new standards in the payments industry. What we have learned about spanning over the gulf between two aspects of this EMV Paradigm Bridge had been very time consuming and arduous. This was a very difficult process. It took several man years of developing a technology and applying senior people to make this happen.
We have been working with various payment processors and the newest of technologies for the last 12 years. We have discovered that there is a direct way to move the older technologies forward without paying exorbitant costs to move to the new EMV paradigm. It wasn't easy and it required discipline, but we can explain this to you with the right people in the room.
It involves a bridge....one that moves you over the river of uncertainty to the other side to the firm footing at the other end of the bridge (EMV). We provide the bridge and blocks to do this.
In doing this, it required us to provide a unique approach that was streamlined and allowed our customers to speak in business English. No technical mumbo jumbo spoken. Technical people many times lapse into the use of jargon to avoid the need to communicate. We do not do this. If our friends and families don't understand, we don't say it.
Approach #1 - Leverage what you have already
With EMV migrations you can reuse your existing code. Our approach also allowed our customers an option of taking the existing code base that they own (or that the VAR reseller or ISV currently uses) and plug-into our AuthPayX EMV Inside Solution Engine™. This connects your older code frameworks to the new stratagem --EMV Chip-based technology. Think of Lego bricks.........We have the odd colored bricks at the right size.
Approach #2 - Burn the Boats and start over
The other option has become to "burn the boats" and start anew with a fresh application approach whereby your company could leverage their market share, and yet simplify the coding necessary to making the whole project go smoothly by using our Client Application Interface and also AuthPayX EMV inside™technology. If your code is old and limping along on the last breaths of 1980's technology—perhaps this is the better approach.
We continue to use our Systems Integration techniques embodied within what we call "The Parallel Systems Integration Methodology.™" This still allows customers to move only the necessary code to make sure they are in compliance with the new PCI-EMV mandates.
All of our work scales to the size of the scope of the project. We can get you to the goal in a few months rather than a few years. We have taken a hybrid approach to minimize time to market and bring the best of technology, people, and methodologies to bear, so that rather than experimenting and discovering, you are patiently ushered through our process where all of the aspects of integration and implementation are covered.
We make all of this happen independent of technical languages, OS type, or prior coding efforts. Technology is the easy part, getting the customer experience right is the hard part.
This is all done with the mind to having a peaceful ("secure") LAN environment in each of your store locations.
For the little guy......
